A GORGEOUS SPARKLING PUNCH MADE WITH POMEGRANATE JUICE, ROOH AFZA, AND MUDDLED BERRIES!
While there are a ton of recipes that you see here that require weeks of research and testing - there are a few that just come together beautifully...almost like magic. This recipe is one of those.
While I would be more than happy to chalk it up to luck - I've found that when you start with the right pairing of ingredients, you are set up for success and the end result is everything.
The ingredients in this punch go harmoniously together. HARMONIOUSLY. With the Fourth of July this week - this recipe takes a few of my favorite ingredients of all time fresh muddled berries (hello, summer!), Rooh Afza, and 100% pomegranate juice to make a delightful seasonal sipper.
Round two of my summer series is perfectly timed to the Fourth of July and this mocktail punch is going to be such a hit at your party! The color on it is also perfect for the holiday and you can even make 95% of it in advance of your first guest's arrival. Just top the pitcher with club soda when your first guest walks into the door and you're in business. :)
With this entire series, I've promised pairings for all of my summer drink recipe series. I love serving this punch as a 'welcome' drink of sorts when my guests arrive and these with some chicken/lamb keema samosas would be my go-to pairing! This drink would also pair beautifully with some grilled shrimp or salmon that is dressed up with lots of fresh citrus and herbs. Last but not least, if you want to pair this beverage with a main dish - you cannot go wrong with biryani!
Have specific summer sips you'd like for me to create and put my Tash Mashup spin on? Let me know via email or Instagram - I love hearing from y'all and your feedback is appreciated beyond. Cheers!

INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons of Rooh Afza syrup (less or more to taste depending on your preferred sweetness)
1 cup mixed fresh berries such as strawberries and blueberries
2 cups 100% pomegranate juice
1/4 cup of lemon juice, freshly squeezed
2 cups of sparkling water or club soda, chilled
DIRECTIONS
In a medium-sized pitcher, lightly muddle Rooh Afza and the mixed berries to release some of their juices.
Then, add in your pomegranate juice and lemon juice.
Top with sparkling water or club soda.
Stir to combine and serve! This one is best served with a straw.
~ Serves 4-6
Notes
I've mentioned it above but you can prep everything other than the sparkling water ahead of time. When ready to serve, you can just add in the sparkling water and stir it before serving.
You can most definitely strain the fruit before serving, but I actually prefer the punch with the pieces of fresh fruit - especially given the fruit is in season. Summer fruit is truly elite!
I would most definitely stick to 100% pomegranate juice. My favorite brand will forever be POM. There is no sugar added making it ideal for drink recipes like this one! You can find it in most grocery stores and you can learn more about what makes POM so great here.
